The Ligonier teacher claims that "legal repentance" flows from a sense of danger and fear of wrath". This is bad repentance to him.
So so many examples could be provided.
Well, you've seen that Scripture warns Christians and motivates repentance through fear of God's wrath too. So reject any so-called "gospel of grace" that cannot cope with such warnings. These are false gospels. Different from the true Good News preached by Jesus and his apostles who motivated repentance by BOTH promises of blessings for obedience AND promises of curses & wrath for disobedience.
The man-made Protestant "gospel" traditions down below cause many unrepentant "Christians" to be like what Paul said in Rom3v18: “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

All those man-made traditions above cause most Protestants to deny that the fear of God includes the fear of God's wrath on unrepentant sin. This is the ABCs of knowledge (Prov1v1-7) but they haven't even understood this.
